1. Go to your Facebook Business Page.
2. Find the post you want to boost. This may include a Jobs, Event or video post.
3. Select Boost Post. You can find it in the bottom-right corner of your post. Note: If you are unable to select Boost Post, boosting may be unavailable for this post.
4. Fill in the details for your ad. We’ll automatically use images and text from your post, but you can choose the following details:
Objective: Choose what you want the audience to do when they see your ad.
Post Button: This is optional but we highly recommend adding a button. We recommend using the “Learn More” button. If you chose the “Message” objective, you don’t have to worry about this option since it’s automatically defaults to “Send Message”.
Special Ad Category: This is why 95% of real estate agent’s ads get rejected!!! You will need to check this special ad category and select the “Housing” category. Want to learn why? Read Facebook’s article.
Audience: Choose your audience. You’re fairly limited to how specific you can target due to the Special Housing Category rules. Choose a city or zip code to be the center of your targeting. Facebook’s minimum location targeting is 15 mile radius around your chosen city or zip.
Duration and Budget: Fill in how long you want to run the campaign and how much you want to spend.
When you’re done, select Boost.
